Privacy Policy

In compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD), this Privacy Policy informs users of the conditions under which their personal data is processed.
1. Data Controllers

2. Processing activities
Planeo operates a digital platform for discovering, creating and managing social experiences, as well as intermediating ticket payments for events organised by third parties.
Activity 1: Registration, contact and account management
- Source: From the data subject (registration forms or Google sign-in).
- Legal basis: Performance of a contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
- Purposes: Create and manage user profile, enable login, handle support queries.
- Data: Name, surname, email, gender, date of birth, profile photo.
- Retention: While the account is active. After deletion, blocked for 5 years.
Activity 2: Platform operations and payments
- Source: From the data subject and Stripe.
- Legal basis: Performance of a contract + consent for location.
- Purposes: Discover events, process payments, manage refunds, check-in, social interaction.
- Data: Transaction data (Stripe), GPS location, attendance history.
- Recipients: Verified Organisers (name and photo when joining). Stripe (payments, AML/KYC).
- Retention: During the relationship. Tax data blocked for 6 years.
Activity 3: Commercial communications
- Legal basis: Legitimate interest (Art. 21 LSSI) or consent.
- Purposes: Inform about Planeo events, products or services.
- Data: Name, surname, email.
- Retention: While the purpose persists or until consent is withdrawn.
3. Device permissions
- Camera & Photo Library: For profile photos, event images and QR scanning during check-in. No background recording.
- Calendar: To add events you attend. We do not read or alter pre-existing events.
- GPS Location: To show nearby plans. Can be disabled in device settings.
4. International data transfers
Data is stored within the EEA. When using services such as Stripe or cloud infrastructure, any international transfers are regulated through Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission.
5. Minors
Users must be at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we detect a profile belonging to a child under 13, the account will be immediately deleted.
6. Data retention and account deletion
You can request permanent deletion from the app: Profile → Settings → Delete account.
